Getting Here in Winter
Access to Engstlenalp in winter is only possible on foot with snowshoes or touring skis and requires appropriate experience and equipment. Plan plenty of time and always start your tour in the morning. We are happy to provide information about the current snow conditions and accessibility. We ask you to call us the day before your arrival to check the current situation. Please let us know which route you plan to take to reach Engstlenalp and give us your mobile phone number so we can reach you while you’re en route. Tel. 033 975 11 61. Please note that we may have to cancel on short notice due to avalanche danger or other local natural hazards!
